New gluten free products February 2025

New gluten free products always seem to take us by surprise, who knew we’d need chocolate digestives or freeze dried skittles?

I launched this series this year and January’s new gluten free products did rather well. New products seem to be coming out all the time, I’ve been covering many of these on my Instagram page.

Sometimes though it’s easier to see all the new products in one tidy article. And to help you out a bit more I’ve included links to the products so you can add them to your online shop or see if they’re available near you.

Oh except for Aldi – you rarely get a web listing for those!

Aldi gluten free digestives

These gluten free digestives actually came out late January and I forgot to add them to my post for January’s new products. I’ve since tried the chocolate ones and can confirm they are rather delicious (FB review).

They are listed as limited time only so be sure to get in to Aldi and try them out.

Aldi protein balls

They’re tested gluten free too! Protein seems to vary, one packet as 7g and another has 9g. The price is $1.49 and there’s six balls in each bag.

• Peanut butter protein balls, 45g. Allergens: Peanut, milk. May contain: Almond, cashew, hazelnut, pistachio, walnut.
• Lemon & pistachio protein balls, 45g. Allergens: Cashew, pistachio. May contain: Almond, hazelnut, walnut, milk.
• Cocoa & raspberry protein balls, 45g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: ??
• Cacao & orange protein balls, 45g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: ??

Arnott’s Cookies and Cream

Yay! Finally a new release from Arnott’s. I’d actually been told we’d be waiting until Easter to get a new gluten free product so this was a surprise.

Sadly no savoury on the cards yet, but given Chicken Crimpy is NSW’s most popular flavour I really feel like they should be next.

Interestingly they are exclusive to Coles and independent stores – no Woolies!

• Arnott’s cookies & cream gluten free, 120g. Allergens: Soy, milk, egg. May contain: Nil.

Arnott’s Snack Right

What a lovely surprise to come across in Coles at the start of the month. I’d just been lamenting to my husband the loss of the rosemary and sea salt protein puffs (those were surprisingly delicious!).

The Snack Right range all seem to be nutritionally enhanced with a focus on either protein or fibre. These salted caramel puffs boast extra fibre.

• Snack Right salted caramel puffs, 92g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, tree nuts, peanut, sesame, soy.

Bird’s Eye Deli range

I so often take a browse late at night through the Woolworths website. I filter to see the new products and then take a poke around to see if any are gluten free. What a discovery when I found out this whole new range from Bird’s Eye is gluten free by ingredient!

Coles lollies

Three new lollies at Coles yay! All under the Coles label and I’ve already got them all up on my Coles gluten free lollies and chocolates guide.

• Sour peach rings, 150g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, soy. Contains beef gelatine.
• Freeze dried sour rainbow crunch, 114g. Allergens: Soy. May contain: Almond, cashew, almond, pine nut, sesame.
• Sour worms, 150g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, soy. Contains beef gelatine.

Harvest Snaps Scoopers

These are a new type from Harvest Snaps with a scoop shape, hence the name.

Pasta Roma

Definitely some excitement to get a new pasta shape. I don’t buy pasta often but this feels more expensive than most? $4.90 for 350g. Ooft.

• Pasta Roma gluten free small shells, 350g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Nil.

Thin’s Salt and Vinegar Onion Rings

Tested gluten free, these are a new flavour in the onion rings range. I definitely won’t be giving a review, I do not like onion!

• Thin’s Onion Rings salt and balsamic vinegar, 85g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, soy.

Woolworths

Two new pastas! Woo! Okay, the shapes are rather boring but the packet is 500g which is nice. As a household of three the 350g packets are annoying as that’s only four serves. So I end up with many packets with one portion left.

• Free From Gluten penne, 500g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Lupin, soy.
• Free From Gluten spaghetti, 500g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Lupin, soy.

Not long after finding the two pastas I was in store and spotted a third – spirals. Not the most exciting shape but the price point is great – $2.50 for 500g.
