New gluten free products March 2025

The freezer seems to be the star of March’s new gluten free products, there is just a tonne of ice cream. It’s been a bit trickier to keep track of new products this month as I spent the latter half of March sick with a cold.

I can tell you however that I did eat a lot of gluten free ice cream, specifically the somewhat new (or newly without a may contain) mini “magnums” from Aldi.

Bell Farms

Rejoice! Coeliacs and gluten free folks only had to go without safe wedges for about two months. If you haven’t heard, Aldi’s famous gluten free wedges are no more. They changed suppliers and their recipe now contains wheat.

But just in the last few weeks I was wandering through my local Woolies and found these Bell Farms wedges in the freezer.

Going by the ingredients and the country of origin (Belgium) I think they are actually the exact same wedges that Aldi used to stock.

Coles Natures Kitchen Boysenberry Ice Creams

These look delicious! They are dairy free, and it’s nice to see a flavour option that’s a bit different. We don’t often see boysenberry as an ice cream flavour.

Golden North

So a quick little caveat for the golden North ice creams. They are gluten free, there are three new flavours but I think only one the lime is available nationally. Or rather there’s only one that’s available in Woolworths, which is the easiest one for me to find.

However, if you’re based in South Australia, you’ll have a lot more options because Golden North are based in SA. Some IGA stores around the country and other independents will also stock some golden North products.

  • Coco mango Twist, 1L. Allergen: Dairy. May contain: Nil.

Haagen Dasz Coffee Ice cream

I’m not sure we have many coffee ice creams on the market at the moment, let alone one that is gluten free by ingredient. I’ve already got this updated on my gluten free ice cream guide.

Keep It Cleaner

You can now buy lentil chips in tangy BBQ flavour by keep it cleaner. I’m not sure I’ve ever tried lentil chips to be honest, they also have a few other flavours at Coles.

These are tested gluten free!

Queen

There’s a whole bunch of new gluten free cake decorations by Queen available at Coles.

This is really great because some of the cake decorating products by Dollar Sweets have recently switched to having a make contain for wheat gluten, in particular, their 100s and 1000s.

Woolworths 1L ice cream tubs

Are these really new? Or just back in stock? The Woolies website lists them as new and they weren’t on my ice cream guide before so let’s go with new!

I’ve had a look in store, and my local Woolies has an older version of these that has a may contain and was made in New Zealand. You can easily tell them apart because the old ones are in plastic tubs with white around the lids.

These new ones don’t have a gluten may contain and are made in Australia.

Woolworths Peri Peri Chips

Woolworths have released some new chips with Peri-Peri seasoning. I haven’t tried them yet but they are on my chip guide.

I’ve seen one review online so far and it was quite positive. You can see it here from The Drunk Coeliac on Instagram.

That’s all the new gluten-free products I’ve found in March. This post is also available as a reel on my Instagram page, handy if you need to save it for taking to the supermarket.
