New gluten free products January 2025
Posted: January 31, 2025 Updated: January 31, 2025
I have been making reels to cover new gluten free products released and I always post my latest finds on Facebook. But not everyone is on Instagram or Facebook so maybe an article each month would be handy?
I don’t know, maybe this will be a one time only thing and it’ll get no visits. Or worse, there’s a month where we get no new products!
Hopefully not though, let’s see how this goes.
The great thing about posting on my website is that I can do whatever I please and I don’t have to worry about the algorithm. Did you know Facebook is less likely to show you my posts if it has a link? Yep, so they actually make it difficult to promote my website!
To make it easier for everyone I’ve included product links for every new item. This way you can see if it’s stocked at your local store.

Agrios prawns
Two prawn products ready for summer! I actually saw these right at the end of 2024 but we’ll call it a January find. There’s prawns wrapped in maple bacon and skewers with alternating prawns and chorizo slices. They’re made with Aussie prawns too!
- Bacon wrapped prawn skewers, 250g. Allergens: Crustacean, sulphites. May contain: Nil.
- Chorizo prawn skewers, 250g. Allergens: Crustacean, sulphites. May contain: Nil.
Carman’s protein bars
I absolutely love Carman’s protein bars. I’ve always got at least one, if not two, packets in the pantry. While I don’t eat them every day (or even every week) I love having a snack handy that is readily transportable while also packing a solid protein hit.
My favourite of all the flavours they’ve had was the limited edition mint flavour. So I am super keen to try out the new high protein crisp in double choc mint bars!
Carman’s bars are certainly more expensive and these come in at $9.80 a pack. So that’s just under $2 a bar.
- Carman’s high protein crisp dark choc caramel, 250g. Allergens: Milk, peanut, soy. May contain: Sesame, tree nuts.
- Carman’s high protein crisp double choc mint, 250g. Allergens: Milk, peanut, soy. May contain: Sesame, tree nuts.
Cobs variety pack
This one seems expertly timed for return to school. 16 packs with four different flavours. The allergens are varied and include soy and milk.
- Cobs variety, 16 pack. Allergens: Milk, soy. (varies by flavour)
Mayvers
There’s already three flavours of gluten free, low carb, high protein bars by Mayver’s available at Coles so it’s pretty cool that we get three different flavours over at Woolworths.
- Mayver’s low carb high protein peanut caramel, 128g. Allergens: Milk, peanut, soy. May contain: Sesame, tree nuts.
- Mayver’s low carb high protein choc fudge brownie, 128g. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Sesame, peanut, tree nuts.
- Mayver’s low carb high protein choc mint biscuit, 128g. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Sesame, peanut, tree nuts.
Sam’s Pantry protein bars
These bars may be the cheapest gluten free protein bars available. Currently $4.30 a packet which makes them 86 cents per bar. The value pack with 12 bars takes it down to just 71 cents.
There’s two flavours that are new for January!
- Sam’s Pantry cranberry coconut protein bar, 205g. Allergens: Milk, peanut, almond, soy. May contain: Sesame, tree nuts.
- Sam’s Pantry caramel peanut protein bar, 456g. Allergens: Milk, peanut, almond, soy. May contain: Sesame, tree nuts.
Tip Top fruit bread
This one caught me so off guard! I guess I’m really used to not getting new bread products. In 2024 the only ones we got were Warburtons, which to be fair are pretty great. But it took six months for them to roll out nationally.
So it’s really great to see a new product made locally. I got some in late January so I’ll be sure to write a review either on my website or Facebook.
- Tip Top gluten free raisin toast, 550g. Allergens: Soy, egg. May contain: Nil.
Woolworths crackers
These are a multipack option of the rather divisive Woolworths crackers which, found in the regular aisle, aren’t even labelled gluten free on the front. The crackers are actually made by long-time gluten free brand Leda, I reviewed one of their cracker flavours in 2024 which I suspect is identical to the Woolies chicken ones.
- Multipack crackers pizza and chicken, 150g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Almond, cashew, macadamia, sesame.
