2025 Gluten Free Easter Eggs in Australia

2025 Gluten Free Easter Eggs in Australia

Posted: February 20, 2025 Updated: February 21, 2025

This is the fourth year I’m making a shopping guide for all the gluten free Easter eggs you can find around Australia for 2025. Every year it’s the biggest, most successful post I make, in 2024 it had over 13,000 visits.

Why?

Because at Easter it’s not just coeliacs and gluten free folks looking for GF Easter eggs.

It’s their friends, family members, and colleagues all wanting to make sure they buy the right product. After all, when we get a gluten-filled egg or one with a may contain warning the only option is re-gifting.

Easter is rather late for 2025, with Easter Sunday landing on 20th April. That means even more time for eggs on the shelves in the lead-up.

I hope you find the treat you’re looking for, so much is gluten free at Easter, it’s a real blessing.

A quick note about Kati Keksi

For some of you this might be your first time on my website – welcome!

I’m Kati, I’ve been on a gluten free diet for well over 15 years. I’ve been running this website for four years and the Easter egg guide in 2022 was one of my earliest posts.

I don’t get paid by any of the companies to make this list, it’s just me getting out there and putting this together for all the coeliacs and gluten free folks in Australia.

If you love it, you can say thanks by sharing it with friends and family, putting it in a Facebook group or sending me a bit of money via Buy Me a Coffee. Oh and be sure to sign up to my monthly newsletter.

There are a few affiliate links in this article, you can read more about that this page – how you can support Kati Keksi.

How to use this list

I’ve grouped the chocolates by brand and listed them alphabetically so you can scroll or use the search function to find your favourites. I’ve grouped the dairy free and vegan eggs together under their own section at the end of the article, you can jump that section now.

You should be able to find most of the products in Coles and Woolworths. If there’s exclusive items or harder to find products I’ve included possible locations and links.

If you’re having trouble finding a product, drop me a message on Instagram, Facebook or via the comments below.

Aldi

While Aldi certainly has a good range of chocolates and treats Christmas, Easter it’s a bit of a let down. In 2024, all of the Dairy Fine range had may contain warning for wheat / gluten, I’m guessing it will be the same for 2025.

Aldi release their range closer to Easter so I’ll keep checking, follow me on Facebook where I’ll post updates before adding them to the guide.

If Aldi is your main store, don not stress. Aldi stock a lot of Cadbury Easter chocolates, almost all of which are gluten free! You can also buy gluten free hot cross buns at Aldi.

Baci

So one great thing about Baci is not only that it’s labelled gluten free on the back. It’s also soy free – all of them. Not important for a coeliac, but there are plenty of folks with soy allergy or intolerance.

  • Milk Baci chocolate mini eggs, 150g (seen in IGA)
  • Dark Baci chocolate mini eggs, 265g (seen in IGA)
  • Milk Baci chocolate egg, 255g
  • Baci Amaretto tin, 250g.

Note: if you can’t find the gift boxed Baci you can also buy them in small bags at Coles.

Cadbury

Most of the standard Cadbury range carries a may contain warning for wheat / gluten. However, like the Christmas range, much of the Easter range by Cadbury are coeliac-safe. No may contain!

Here’s all the coeliac safe gluten free Cadbury Easter products, including all the small eggs. There’s a few new ones this year including pineapple mini eggs and a coconut rough bunny.

Little egg bags

  • Peppermint Milk Chocolate Eggs 115g (my favourite of 2022)
  • Strawberry Milk Chocolate Eggs 118g (my favourite)
  • Top Deck Egg Bag 114g
gluten free easter eggs by Cadbury. Packing image of peppermint, strawberry and top deck eggs.
Peppermint eggs are a favourite of mine but strawberry eggs are delicious!
  • Dairy Milk Salted Caramel Egg Bag 114g
  • Cadbury Turkish Delight Egg Bag 117g
  • Dairy Milk Easter Egg Bag – all sizes 114g, 440g
gluten free easter eggs by Cadbury. Packing image of salted caramel, Turkish delight and plain dairy milk.
  • Caramilk Easter Egg Bag 110g, 230g
  • Cadbury Triple Pack 649g
  • Dairy Milk Choc Caramel Egg Bag 115g

  • Dream Egg bag, 110g.
  • Creme Eggs minis bag, 110g.
  • Caramello Egg bag, 117g.
gluten free easter eggs by Cadbury. Packing image of dream, creme egg and caramello eggs.
  • Cadbury pineapple mini eggs, 118g. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
A packet of Cadbury pineapple mini eggs showing a bright yellow cream centre.
New for 2025!

Fun fact, Cadbury Mini Eggs are soy free! Also that small bag is 10g less than the boxes from 2024.

  • Cadbury Easter Mini Eggs – all sizes 31.9g, 125g.

Eggs

  • Creme Egg, 40g and bag of 6, 240g

Regular sized Creme Eggs (40g and 240g bag) are made in the UK. They have a different set of ingredients and allergen / may contain warnings.

While they list wheat and gluten, the ingredient containing wheat is wheat glucose so they remain safe. However, the UK eggs contain egg albumen so keep this in mind if you have an egg allergy. Mini creme eggs (listed above) do not contain egg.

  • Dairy Milk Hollow Easter Egg 50g and 100g
Cadbury gluten free easter eggs 100g packaging.
Any colour is fine, they are all gluten free

So in the spirit of shrinkflation the 12 and 24 egg boxes now contain 11 and 22 eggs. I’m just irked that I have to update the photos now.

  • Dairy Milk Hunting Egg Boxes, 9, 11, 18 and 22 packs.
  • Mega Easter egg tube, 28 pack.
In 2024 Cadbury switched to boxes, away from plastic egg cartons
  • Cherry Ripe Egg 110g (these don’t have gelatine (unlike the bars!))
  • Humpty Dumpty Egg and carton of eggs, 25g and box of six, 150g.

Bunnies

I haven’t seen any of these slim bunnies for sale yet but I suspect they’ll be out closer to Easter.

  • Cherry Ripe Bunny, 125g.

  • Dairy Milk Mint Chip Bunny 125g
  • Caramilk Bunny 125g
  • Dairy Milk Easter Bunny 80g, 100g, 150g, 250g
  • Old Gold Easter Bunny 150g
gluten free easter bunnies by Cadbury. Packing image of mint chip, caramilk, dairy milk and old gold chocolate.

This is another new one for 2025! This article covers all the new GF Easter eggs for this year.

  • Coconut Rough Bunny, 160g.
  • Dairy Milk Sitting Easter bunny, 170g.
  • Mini Egg bunny, 160g.
  • Easter bunny tin 164g – technically not a bunny, it’s a metal tin with a bag of solid Cadbury eggs and some marshmallow eggs (both safe!)
I love the stylised design of the one on the right.

Gift boxes

  • Cherry Ripe Gift Box 186g (171g for 2024)
  • Creme Egg gift box 193g (170g in 2024)
  • Caramilk gift box 153g
  • Humpty Dumpty gift box, 130g, now 132g for 2025
  • Caramello gift box, 170g
  • Dairy Milk Gift Box, 168g
  • Dairy Milk Deluxe Egg Gift Box 400g, now 340g for 2025
This was new in 2024.

These two gift boxes are new for 2025, Dream and Slices.

  • Cadbury Dream gift box, 155g. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
  • Cadbury Slices raspberry and coconut Easter egg, 181g. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.

Other items

  • Plush Bunny and Dairy Milk Eggs 51g
  • Marshmallow Pascall Pineapple Lumps 130g (Spotted in IGA in 2025!)
  • Cadbury Marshmallow Eggs Peppermint 150g
  • Cadbury Marshmallow Eggs 35g, 150g, 175g, 325g
  • Pascall Pineapple Lumps Marshmallow Egg Tray 150g (spotted in the Reject Shop in 2024)
  • Pinky Marshmallow Egg Tray 150g (also spotted in the Reject Shop in 2024)

The Carob Kitchen

I’ve been doing these lists for a while but I’m not entirely sure I know what carob is. The Carob Kitchen offers chocolate-like treats that are made with carob, however the ingredients still include cocoa butter.

All of them are tested gluten free. The allergens are the same across the range as per below. You’ll find these products in health food stores and on Amazon.

Allergens: Milk. May contain: Tree nuts, peanut, soy, sesame.

  • Banjo the Carob Bunny mini egg gift bag 140g
  • Pink or Blue foiled Banjo the Carob Bunny Easter egg 100g
  • Mini Easter eggs retail box 134 x 8g

Chocolatier

The Chocolatier website looks so slick and it’s all set up for 2025 Easter eggs however as per previous years it’s been a miss for accurate allergen information.

I saw the platypus chocolate in Coles in February and it now has a may contain. I’m going to say the Bikin’ Bunny probably does as well.

I’ll leave this here as I want to make sure people know Puddles the Platypus definitely isn’t GF this year.

  • Extra large milk chocolatier egg, 600g (yes, over half a kilogram!)
  • Puddles The Platypus 190g (may contain wheat, barley, gluten in 2025)
  • Bikin’ Bunny, 160g (maybe may contain too?)

Coles

In 2024 Coles released a few fancy mini eggs, three of which were gluten free. Two flavours are back for 2025 and there’s a few new ones as well.

  • Hazelnut Brittle White Chocolate Eggs, 120g. Allergens: Hazelnut, milk. May contain: Egg, soy, tree nuts.
  • Sea Salt & Caramel Almond Nougat Milk Chocolate Eggs, 120g. Allergens: Almond, hazelnut, milk. May contain: Egg, soy, tree nuts.
  • Coles Easter Choc Coated Marshmallow, 200g. Allergens: Wheat*, milk, soy, sulphite. May contain: Tree nuts. Contains beef gelatine.

The wheat in the marshmallow eggs is from glucose syrup, so that’s coeliac safe.

These two are both new gluten free Easter eggs for 2025 with popping candy and lemon meringue. Oddly they both have a hazelnut praline base so I’m really not sure how they’ll taste.

  • Popping Candy Milk Chocolate Eggs, 120g. Allergens: Almond, hazelnut, milk. May contain: Cashew, macadamia, pecan, pistachio, walnut, egg, soy.
  • Lemon Meringue Milk Chocolate Eggs, 120g. Allergens: Almond, hazelnut, milk. May contain: Egg, soy, tree nuts.

The Coles daggy chocolate Easter pops are back for 2025, while they’re not traditional eggs they are gluten free by ingredient.

  • This little bunny (55g) or duck (50g)
  • Easter Belgian Milk Choc Pops, 30g.

Another new range for Coles is Easter themed gummy lollies. Perfect for those of us who don’t like chocolate.

Darrel Lea

All Darrel Lea Easter eggs have a ‘may contain’ due to wheat in their other products. Below is from their website and I’ve also written to the brand in the past.

Most of our block and chocolate products do not contain gluten. Due to shared equipment with some gluten ingredients, we cannot make a gluten free claim on our products. – Darrel Lea website

Ferrero

Almost every Ferrero product has wheat wafers. Fortunately a number of the Easter products don’t include wafer, just chocolate and hazelnuts!

These items are all gluten free by ingredient because none of them have wafers. Note: Ferrero mini eggs are not gluten free and do have wafers.

  • Ferrero Rocher Milk Chocolate and Hazelnut Egg, 100g.
  • Ferrero Rocher Milk Chocolate and Hazelnut Hollow Squirrel, 90g.
These are already in store at Coles!

If you’re a big fan of Ferrero make sure you check out their two ice creams that are GF by ingredient! Oh and my pal Jo, plantbasedcoeliac, has a reel using the dark Grand Ferrero to make her own mini Ferrero Rochers – definitely worth a watch!

Godiva

In 2023 and 2024 we had some lovely gluten free options from Godiva. I’ll have to wait until I see their products online (or if someone goes to their city stores and lets me know!)

The listings on their website are not too bad, but I’d buy in person just to be sure.

Haigh’s

I’m expecting Haigh’s Easter eggs range for 2025 to release their Easter range shortly. Usually it’s right after Valentines but no sign yet.

Expect changes from previous years as they’ve reassessed their allergen labelling.

Kinder

I always love how fun the Kinder ranges look at Christmas and Easter, all the cute little characters. As far as chocolates go it’s one of the few brands I’ve given to my daughter.

  • Kinder Surprise Chocolate Easter Bunny 75g.
  • Kinder Chicks 35g.
Both 75g bunnies are fine and the ‘chicks’ come in many characters
  • Hazelnut Kinder Mini Eggs (note: only hazelnut is fine, milk has a may contain)
  • Kinder Easter hollow figures (6 x 15g) 90g
  • Mini Kinder Easter bunnies (3 x 15g) 45g
gluten free easter chocolate by Kinder includes hazelnut mini eggs, hollow figures and mini bunnies.
  • Kinder Surprise Chocolate Giant Easter Bunny 160g
  • Bunny house by Kinder, 155g, spotted in Kmart, Woolworths

These cute little Kinder chocolates arrived in 2024, the cookie pieces are gluten free!

  • Milk Kinder mini friends (Ladybug) 89g. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Hazelnut.
  • Biscuit crumbs Kinder mini friends (Chick) 89g. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Hazelnut.
I’ve had these, they’re delicious!

Koko Black

All Koko Black products I’ve come across have a may contain for wheat / gluten.

Lindt

Most Lindt milk chocolate has barley malt extract making it unsuitable for coeliacs. However most of the plain dark chocolate does not use this ingredient.

Lindt hasn’t released their full Easter range for 2025 as yet, so check back. The bunny is already available at Coles.

  • Gold bunny in dark chocolate 100g, 200g (also vegan but has a may contain for milk)
This is available in 100g and 200g.
  • Gold Bunny & Egg Dark Chocolate Gift Box, 240g. Seen at Woolies.
  • Lindt Excellence dark chocolate (70%) egg, 95g.

Miscellaneous brands

  • Bailey’s chocolate luxe mini eggs 138g.

I’ve spotted them most recently in Myer, I think they are pretty much the same as the Bailey’s truffles you can buy at Coles.

Bailey's Easter Eggs packaging and back label to show it is gluten free.
These must be so delicious

Easter Lollies

  • Trolli Funny Bunnies, 300g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, soy. Contains gelatine.
  • Trolli bunny party, 140g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, soy. Contains gelatine.
  • Woolworths Easter lollies, 850g. Allergens: Sulphites. May contain: Milk, soy. Contains gelatine.
  • Easter marshmallows, 300g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Nil. Contains gelatine.

These candy Easter eggs by Stargifts are almost 100% sugar. In terms of allergens they do contain egg but no may contains. However they do contain gelatine. I’ve seen them for sale at Big W and Woolworths.

  • Stargifts candy Easter egg, 130g. Allergen: Egg. May contain: Nil. Contains gelatine.
  • Stargifts candy Easter eggs four pack, 180g. Allergen: Egg. May contain: Nil. Contains gelatine.
Stargifts candy easter eggs from big W showing the ingredients that they are gluten free.

Nestle

Don’t buy the KitKat bunny that is located at the checkout (about the size of Freddo Frog). That one is made in Australia and contains wheat.

What you can buy is this packet of mini bunnies. It’s made in Italy and imported to Australia. In Europe all of the KitKat bunnies are gluten free. The wafer pieces inside are made from rice flour and potato starch. Oh and they are soy free!

  • Kit Kat Chocolate Mini Pouch Bunny Share Pack 66g
The only gluten free KitKat bunny in Australia.

So far 2025 is great for new gluten free Easter eggs. Especially mini eggs by NestlĂ©. All three below are made in Italy and they’re gluten free!

  • Smarties mini eggs, 81g. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Tree nuts.
  • Crunch mini eggs, 80g. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Tree nuts.
  • KitKat mini eggs, 90g. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Tree nuts.

Just a quick note, I’m not sure if these other Smarties eggs are in Australia this year (bigger packet) but they contain wheat, so just look closely and get the 81g packet I’ve listed.

For those that are really keen you can get a mixed bag of the Nestlé mini eggs in a bigger 500g bag. The price is $20, which for comparison is $40 per kilo compared to $55 per kilo for the small bags above.

  • KitKat and Co mixed mini eggs, 500g. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Tree nuts.

I haven’t got a product photo yet but you can see a picture on this Facebook post.

Organic Times

This Melbourne-based organic brand has a mix of vegan and regular chocolate. Unfortunately the vegan range has a may contain for milk. However, these chocolates are labelled gluten free (though no listing of ND).

  • Organic milk Easter egg 130g
  • Medium Dark Easter Bunny 70g (vegan)
  • Milk chocolate Easter Bunny 70g
  • White chocolate Easter Bunny 70g
  • Organic dark Easter egg 130g (vegan)
Organic Times Easter eggs are gluten free.

You can buy these from Organic Times and speciality grocers. They also offer tubs of eggs in dark, milk and white chocolate. However these appear to be for pick up only / wholesale customers.

Park Avenue

Park Avenue sell kid friendly products with various toy and TV show themes. Unfortunately since 2024 Park Avenue products have a may contain for wheat and gluten.

If your kid is set on a Barbie mug or Minions toy, I’d suggest buying the set, eating the chocolate yourself (if you’re not the coeliac) and putting in a safe Cadbury egg or suitable alternative.

Pink Lady

Just a few Pink Lady gluten-free items for us, unfortunately in 2024 the allergens updated and now almost everything has a may contain. I’ve left this here as this was a late change – that’s why it’s important to read the label every time, and visit the guide every time rather than screenshots.

  • Milk Chocolate Pink Lady Mini Eggs in Cylinder, 500g.

Red Tulip

All the Red Tulip Easter eggs and bunnies available are gluten free. So you can still enjoy the little eggs with the iconic red band like you did when you were a kid.

  • Mixed Eggs, 916g.
  • Elegant Rabbit, 200g.
Gluten free Red Tulip chocolate easter eggs and elegant rabbit
Red Tulip is still going strong, find these in K-Mart, Coles and Woolies
  • Easter Rabbit, 110g.
  • Sitting Rabbit, 170g.

These Red Tulip pictures are straight off the Cadbury website – a bit eerie!
  • Carnival Rabbit, 180g.
  • Easter Hollow Egg, 50g.
  • Hunting eggs (10 pack), 170g. – these are an IGA exclusive (204g for 2024, cardboard box)
Red tulip hunting easter eggs and the design for the carnival rabbit.

The Reject Shop

There were fewer GF by ingredient items on offer at the Reject Shop in 2024. They stock unusual Cadbury marshmallow egg flavours in Pineapple Lumps and Pinky.

I’ve been into The Reject Shop recently (20 Feb 2025) but no Easter stock yet so bookmark this page and come back to for updates.

  • Cadbury Marshmallow Pinky, 150g.
  • Cadbury Marshmallow pineapple lumps, 150g.
This is from 2024, I assume they’ll be back.

Gluten free and dairy free Easter eggs

For folks that need Easter eggs that are both gluten free and dairy free this is your section.

In previous years I’ve had this section fully dairy free (no may contain for milk) but I’ve found that many folks are flexible on this. Two brands have a may contain for milk are Bonvita and Health Lab, so scroll past if that’s not suitable for you.

Alpha

The Alpha brand is dairy free, nut free and gluten free. I’ve seen both the eggs below available online from Sunnybrook Health Store, Happy Tummies and GF Pantry. Oh and Glutenfree4u stocked the Alpha range in previous years.

Bonvita

Vegan company Bonvita is a speciality chocolate brand that also happen to be gluten free. Note their products have a may contain for dairy on their ingredients. I’ve seen Bonvita available from a number of online speciality retailers, including Happy Tummies and Sunnybrook.

  • White chocolate half eggs with raspberry, 100g.
  • Chocolate half eggs with hazelnut praline, 100g. Allergens: Hazelnut. May contain: Milk, other nuts.
  • Chocolate half eggs with sprinkles, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Peanut, milk, tree nuts.
  • Mixed chocolate eggs with hazelnut praline, 100g.
  • Chocolate bar with white bunny & choc buttons, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Peanut, milk, tree nuts.
  • Chocolate bar with white eggs & sprinkles, 100g

Buttermilk

Happy Tummies are planning to stock Buttermilk’s range in time for Easter. They are imported from the UK so it’s always a bit of fingers crossed with the distributor. The chocolate range by Buttermilk are vegan and palm oil free.

  • Buttermilk Salted Caramel Crunch egg and caramel nougat bar, 180g.
  • Buttermilk Orange Crisp Easter Bunny Bar, 35g.
  • Buttermilk Honeycomb Choccy Egg with Honeycomb Blast Bar, 175g.
  • Salted caramel cups, 100g.
Buttermilk easter chocolates available in Australia.

I’ll update this with more stockists once they become available.

Free From Family Co

FFFC are owned by online allergy-friendly store Happy Tummies. They have an onsite kitchen free from gluten, dairy, nuts and eggs. In the last few years they’ve been making a huge volume of allergen safe chocolates.

This year new chocolates include Easter countdown calendar (like an Advent calendar), mini bunny chocolates and flat Easter eggs (like the Pana ones).

Honestly, there’s too many to list so I’m going to pop a link to their store and just list a handful with a nice photo.

  • Mylk chocolate bunnies, 120g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.
  • White and mylk chocolate Easter egg bar, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.
  • Mylk chocolate squares, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.
  • White chocolate eggs with sprinkles, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.
  • Dark chocolate eggs, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.
  • Mylk chocolate eggs, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.
  • Dark chocolate Easter egg bar, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.
  • White chocolate Easter egg bar, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Soy.

Health Lab

Health Lab released their very first Easter range in 2024 and I’ve already seen the gluten free caramel eggs in store in 2025. These are vegan but do have a may contain for milk.

  • Health Lab Low Sugar Mylk Chocolate Mini Hunting Eggs, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, egg, sesame, lupin, sulphites, tree nuts, peanut, pine nut, soy.
  • Health Lab Low Sugar Mylk Chocolate Half Eggs with Gooey Caramel, 100g. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, egg, sesame, lupin, sulphites, tree nuts, peanut, pine nut, soy.

Loving Earth

I don’t think we’ll be seeing anything from Loving Earth this year as it looks like they are in the process of closing down. If you’re really keen for Loving Earth products I have seen some for sale at discount store Cheaper Buy Miles.

Miscellaneous Dairy Free

In previous years The Chocolate Box has sold range of gluten free, dairy free Easter chocolates. I’ll check back on their website and see what is available.

In the interim I’ll use this miscellaneous section to repeat one or two ‘accidentally vegan’ products from the main section of the article. These all have a may contain for milk.

  • Organic Times Medium Dark Easter Bunny, 70g.
  • Organic Times dark Easter egg, 130g.
  • Dark chocolate Grand Ferrero Rocher, 125g
  • Lindt Gold dark chocolate bunny, 100g, 200g.

Moo Free

Moo Free is a difficult brand to include in the guide. With just one importer it hinges totally on them to get the eggs here in time for Easter. In 2024 the order was cancelled so none were in the country. Keep your fingers crossed and stay tuned to my FB where I’ll announce their arrival.

It really is important if you are GF and DF to get in early with your Easter egg shopping to avoid missing out.

  • Moo Free Dairy Free Organic Easter Bunny, 32g.
  • White Chocolate Mikey Bunny with Lemon Fizz, 80g.
  • Hammy Hamster with Orange Fizz, 80g.
Moo Free chocolate available in Australia. Lemon Fizz, Orange Fizz mini bunny.
  • “Milk” Chocolate Mini Eggs 50g
  • Easter Egg Hunt Box (10 eggs) 100g
  • Bunnycomb block, 80g
Moo free choccy eggs and moo free easter egg hunt box.
  • Original Easter Egg & Choccy Mini Bar 100g
  • Bunnycomb Easter Egg & Choccy Chum Bar 100g
  • Choccy Eggsplosion Easter Egg with Vegan Mallows 80g
  • Moofreesa Ball and Bag of Moofreesas 100g
Moo free Easter egg gift box range. bunnycomb eggsplosion moofreesa

Nomo

Most Nomo products are available in Australia from Woolworths and Big W. If you want to have the full range I’d recommend Happy Tummies.

The NOMO range are smaller this year, last year products were around 110g and 30g on the bunny.

Pana

Pana revamped their Easter eggs in 2023 and are still making their flat gluten free Easter eggs in 2025. And there’s extra good news, these new flavours do not have a may contain for milk – they are fully dairy free! And they are of course, vegan.

The range is currently available online and at independent grocers like IGA. Happy Tummies will also be stocking these.

Pana Organic new easter egg range 2023. Honeycomb macadamia peanut butter and strawberry and mint.
In terms of allergens, they all either contain or may contain peanuts and tree nuts.
  • Caramel Hot Cross Bun Easter Egg 100g
Pana organic hot cross bun chocolate egg with ingredients label to show its gluten and dairy free.
The Pana range is at independent grocers

So Free by Plamil

These days most Plamil products use oat milk made from gluten free oats. Being a UK company this is accepted as suitable for coeliacs over there.

Gluten free oats aren’t really a thing in Australia, while Coeliac Australia recently shifted their stance, food labelling laws do not permit a product with oats to be declared gluten.

I’ve looked at the Plamil website for Easter and I’ve only listed the items that do not contain oats.

  • Orange chocolate bunny, 25g.
  • Low sugar mint chocolate bunny, 25g.
  • So Free White Chocolate Easter Egg, 92g.
  • So Free Salted Caramel Chocolate Easter Bunny Bar 25g (not sure if HT are getting it this year)

Sweet William

If you’re trying to find the Sweet William brand I’ve seen it available at Coles, online (Happy Tummies) and in store from David Jones and Big W.

Sweet William bunnies, large milk, large white and multi bag of mini bunnies.

I’ll keep adding to this gluten free eggs guide in the lead up to Easter 2025 – be sure to bookmark this page and check back for updates.

Please let me know in the comments if you’ve found any other great gluten free Easter chocolates and tag me in your finds on Instagram kati_keksi 🙂
