Gluten Free Ice Creams and Icy Poles
Posted: November 4, 2022 Updated: December 30, 2024
Summer is almost here so which ice creams and icy poles are gluten free in Australia?
To the newly gluten free or recently diagnosed coeliac you can be forgiven for thinking “Why would they put wheat in my ice cream?” Unfortunately a lot of ‘may contains’ come up on packaging, which is not safe for the Aussie coeliac.
Note: this list only includes stick / single serve ice creams. There are tubs out there that are gluten free, however I want to keep this short and sweet, only sticks!
So, take a scroll through this list, write some notes and get down to the shops right away!

Gluten free by ingredient
Most of the items on this list are gluten free by ingredient. This means they have no gluten containing ingredients and no may contains. However, they are not labelled gluten free and not tested.
Glucose syrup and dextrose from wheat
Glucose syrup from wheat is gluten free – this is because glucose is a simple sugar while gluten is a complex protein. This is the case for dextrose too. You can read more about this on the Coeliac Australia website.

Gluten free ice creams and icy poles
Aldi
If you’ve followed me or this guide for a while you’d be aware of Aldi’s Magnum dupes. I noticed mid-2024 that the labels changed and flavours now list may contains for wheat, gluten on their range. Sorry folks, no more mint magnum.
Aldi seems to stock two main brands consistently. Milfina (their own brand) and Kapiti, a New Zealand brand.
Kapiti
Honey flavoured yoghurt coated in a passionfruit shell, sounds delightful! I’ve now tried these and they are quite lovely. The ice cream inside is real ice cream and it’s so rich, it’s got ripples of honey running through it. The passionfruit shell is quite tart and makes a good contrast.
- Kapiti passionfruit and Kamahi honey, 6 pack. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- White chocolate and raspberry, 6 pack. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Kapiti Nelson boysenberry, 4pack. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
Milfina
These are very similar to the Bulla mini frozen yoghurt sticks. In fact, looking at the flavours I think they are the same. Okay, I just read through the ingredients and yep, they are the same as the Bulla ones further up the list!
- Mini Frozen Yoghurt. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Nil.
Since Woolworths and Coles changed suppliers it’s now hard to find a simple vanilla choc ice cream without a may contain. We’ve got Bulla (see below) and this one from Aldi.
- Choc coats vanilla, 10 pack. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Sulphites, tree nuts.
Bulla
A quick note on Bulla if you have an egg allergy. Bulla updated their manufacturing and may contains around 2023, many products now have a may contain for egg and online listings may not be up to date.
As always I do my best to keep this guide current, but please do check when buying.
Fudge bars mmmm yes! In September 2024 Bulla released a new flavour to go alongside the chocolate fudgy goodness, now we’ve got caramel fudge bars too.
- Chocolate Fudge bars. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Nil.
- Caramel Fudge bars. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Egg.
Choc bars are basically a Choc Wedge, shout out to anyone who remembers those! Vanilla ice cream in a thin crisp layer of chocolate. It’s great, best of both worlds, without so much chocolate that it becomes sickly.
Splits
Raspberry splits, yessss! And not a mango flavour in sight. Luckily my husband likes mango so he gets all of those when we buy the mixed packets. These contain milk and may contain egg.
Splits wildberry, orange and tropical are ice creams with a fruit ice shell. They contain milk and may contain egg.
The Splits range just keeps on going this pack has raspberry, mango and lemon & lime.
Frozen yoghurts
The Bulla mini frozen yoghurt are such a nice treat. As the name suggests they are quite small but it’s still satisfying. I also like how they identify the packaging – I really don’t like mango so I avoid that at all costs.
Allergens: Milk.
Bulla makes two regular frozen yoghurt on a stick products with five flavours in total.
- Frozen yoghurt mango, apricot and passion fruit
- Frozen yoghurt mango, wildberry and strawberry.
Both are gluten free by ingredient, only allergen is milk and there are no may contains.
Chupa Chups
Mixed minis Chupa Chups ice creams are made by Bulla. They are gluten free by ingredient and include two icy pole flavours and one ice cream in the style of a split. Milk is the only allergen in these.
Peters
The Peters website is pretty helpful on what is gluten free, however they tend to show only what is legit, tested gluten free. They won’t include GF by ingredient in their filter.
Barney Banana and Rainbow Billabong used to be on this list, but I don’t think they are made anymore so I’ve removed them.
I was looking at Dixie Cup on the Woolworths website and it listed wheat (glucose) so I did a wee search and found that Dixie Cups are now in fact, endorsed by Coeliac Australia.
Twin Pole
Now be warned, some flavours I’ve seen for Twin Poles has a may contain for wheat / gluten, but this flavour lemon lime is fine! Update: In September 2024 we got a new flavour, Cola Spider!
- Lemon Lime. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Milk, peanut, tree nuts.
- Cola Spider. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Soy, peanut, tree nuts.
Update: In November 2024 the vanilla chocolate Twin Pole became fully GF! It used to have a may contain but I’ve spoken to Peter’s who confirmed they’ve removed that due to changed lines.
- Vanilla chocolate Twin Pole. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
Coles
Coles have a few home brand items that are gluten free, woohoo!
Mango sorbet
I’ve seen photos of these on Instagram from my buddy thehardycoeliac years ago but then they disappeared. However April 2024 they have reappeared in the shops! Note that they erroneously list wheat and gluten in the allergens, but it’s for glucose syrup so it’s ok!
- Mango sorbet mini sticks. Allergens: Wheat, gluten*. May contain: Milk, peanut, tree nuts.
Choc sticks
Around September 2024 the beloved (and cheap!) Coles choc sticks were disappearing off shelves. They came back in October from a new supplier (from Indonesia) and now have a may contain for wheat.
Coles changed supplier, no longer GF đ
Irresistible
I’m not sure if I never noticed these or they are new? Anyway, January 2024 I spotted two Magnum dupes that are GF by ingredient (because wheat glucose is totally ok!). There’s a few in the Coles Irresistible range, they all have wheat glucose listed but are fine!
- Almond. Allergens: Milk, almond, soy, wheat*. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Vanilla. Allergens: Milk, soy, wheat*. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
Sweetporium
Another Coles brand is Sweetporium which has a number of different desserts and treats around the store. They’ve got four Magnum style ice creams but just one is gluten free by ingredient. It’s actually a similar flavour to their tub which is also GF by ingredient.
- Peanut butter cups, 4 sticks. Allergens: Milk, peanut, soy. May contain: Tree nuts.
Denada
Update: Denada revamped their packaging and flavours of their tubs around August 2024. I was doing some regular checks in December and noticed their stick ice creams, which used to be tested gluten free, now have a may contain for wheat / gluten.
Off the list!
Ferrero
Believe or not but in May 2023 Ferrero released two ice cream flavours in Australia! Ferrero Rocher and Rafaello ice cream. You can see full details on my dedicated post.
Note: There’s now a dark chocolate one available but it has a may contain warning for gluten.
Golden North
Golden North is an ice cream company based in South Australia, as such most of their stockists are based in SA. However I did see (and taste) their ice cream on my 2022 trip to Uluru!
They have a stockist locator on their website – be sure to type in the region so the map updates. When I put in Melbourne over 20 stockists appeared, mostly IGA stores.
You can see their full gluten free range on their website. In terms of single ice creams they have giant twins and swing – which looks like a dairy version of a calippo.
Giant Twins
These ice creams are a long bar of ice cream coated in a thin layer of crisp chocolate. there’s a little dent half way in the bar and the idea is that you can break the bar in half and share it. They are all labelled gluten free but no testing details on the nutrition panel. Oddly the few I’ve looked at contain gelatine so keep in mind that these are not vegetarian.
Giant Twins come in banana, vanilla, honey, salted caramel, iced coffee, spearmint and strawberry. There’s even a limited edition licorice flavour – ew!
Swing
It looks like a calippo but it’s dairy! It comes in strawberry, banana and chocolate. These also contain gelatine.
While looking at the Golden North website a little further I found out there are also non dairy Swing icy poles. I’ve added them further down the list in the dairy free section.
Greenback
This is the brand with the big ol’ gorilla on the box. I think they are both a plant-based brand and one with high-protein products. They have a pretty impressive 11g of protein per stick, so if that’s your thing – get on it! While these are vegan and dairy free they have a may contain for milk.
- Peanut with Mylk Choc Protein Ice Cream. Allergens: Soy, peanut. May contain: Egg, milk, almond, macadamia, hazelnut.
- Caramel with Mylk Choc Protein Ice Cream. Allergens: Soy. May contain: Egg, milk, peanut, almond, macadamia, hazelnut.
- Vanilla Hazelnut with Mylk Choc Protein Ice Cream. Allergens: Soy, hazelnut. May contain: Egg, milk, peanut, almond, macadamia.
Haagen Dasz
Say whaaaaat! Haagen Dasz has stick ice creams yes yes yes! They are newly arrived at Woolworths (I spotted them Oct 2023). There are two packs for four flavours in total and all are GF by ingredient.
- Haagen-dazs Mini Choc Almond & Vanilla Caramel Almond. Allergens: Milk, Egg, Soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Haagen-dazs Mini Macadamia Nut & Salted Caramel. Allergens: Milk, Macadamia, Egg, Soy. May contain: Peanut, other tree nuts.
Little Moons Mochi
These guys get two listings as two of their original flavours are vegan and are in the dairy free section below.
In October 2023 Little Moons Mochi released five new flavours! I’ve put them all in one photo below, you’ll see the flavours and allergens listed too.
Honey Roasted Pistachio
Honestly without writing this post I would have assumed this flavour was also dairy free / vegan. It shows that it is worth reading the ingredients every time.
Allergens: Soy, milk, pistachio. May contain: Other tree nuts, peanuts, sesame.
Golden Blond Chocolate
Golden Blond chocolate.. I guess that’s a non-lawsuit way of saying Caramilk?
Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Egg, peanut, tree nuts.
New flavours October 2023
- Summer Raspberry. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Himalayan Salted Caramel. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Egg, peanut, tree nuts.
- Iced Latte Coffee. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Strawberries & Cream. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Madagascan Vanilla. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
Refreshos
These are new for 2024 and made by Little Moons. The difference? They appear to be more of a sorbet style rather than an ice cream. They are vegan but have a may contain for dairy.
- Very Berry. Allergens: Soy. May contain: Milk, peanut, tree nuts.
- Pineapple and Mandarin. Allergens: Soy. May contain: Milk, peanut, tree nuts.
Magnum
Drum roll! October 2023, a few new Magnum flavours were released in Australia and it turns out two are gluten free by ingredient! Over in Europe it’s actually labelled gluten free, and these it seems are made in Germany and Poland, so most likely the same ones!
- Magnum Double Sunlover, coconut and mango. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Egg, soy, tree nuts.
- Magnum Ego caramel . Allergen: Milk. May contain: Soy, almond.
Magnum mini double caramel comes in a packet of six with three of each flavour. One flavour is GF by ingredient but the other isn’t. I’ve put a line through the second one so you know its full of gluten!
- Magnum mini caramel almond. Allergens: Almond, milk. May contain: Hazelnut, walnut, soy.
Magnum mini gold caramel. Allergens: Gluten, milk, wheat. May contain: Almond, cashew, egg, soy.
Snickers
Annoyingly photos of the ingredients aren’t readily available online so I had to get down to the store for these.
Regular
Honestly the Snickers ice cream might just be better than the real deal. Take a snickers bar and replace the nougat inside with ice cream and that’s what it is. Delicious. Gluten free when you consider that the wheat in it is from glucose syrup. Update: the glucose syrup listing doesn’t even say from wheat anymore, woohoo!
Allergens: Peanut, milk, soy. May contain: Tree nuts.
White chocolate
The white chocolate snickers ice creams are technically gluten free. This is because they list wheat as an allergen when it is from glucose syrup.
Allergens: Peanut, milk, soy. May contain: Tree nuts.
Twisted
Low sugar / not sugar is Twisted unique selling point but happily many of their ice creams are also gluten free! October 2023 saw a huge range of new items from them. Some of which featured in my first ever Instagram reel!
- Vanilla Latte dipped Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Nuts.
- Rich Chocolate Allergen: Milk. May contain: Nuts.
- Vanilla Bean dipped. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Nuts.
- Hazelnut dipped. Allergens: Milk, soy. May contain: Nuts.
That’s not a typo, the hazelnut ice cream doesn’t have hazelnuts, but is still produced in a facility that uses nuts.
There’s also a range called Super Pops – I feel like they are for kids? Maybe it’s the monsters on the packaging.
- Banana Supa Pops. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Nuts.
- Chocolate milkshake Supa Pops. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Nuts.
- Cookie dough Supa Pops. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Nuts.
In mid-2024 Twisted launched mini versions of their ice creams into Aldi. Just two flavours, chocolate and vanilla. Both tested gluten free.
- Twisted milk chocolate mini licks. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Nuts.
- Twisted vanilla bean mini licks. Allergen: Milk. May contain: Nuts.
Weis
The Weis brand is all legit gluten free with the label on the front and nil detected on the back. Weis are a little more expensive than the average ice cream but they are premium in quality. They are also surprisingly easy to share! Just slice the bar in half while still in the packet for a decadent mini treat.
Mango is probably the most classic of all the Weis flavours and the one you’d most typically find in a service station.
Original fruito is a combination of banana, pineapple and passion fruit with a creamy side.
Pineapple and lime minis are a tiny version of these ice cream bars. Discovered in my mother’s freezer I think they are a newly returned product. They are delicious, there’s bits of crushed pineapple inside too, definitely has a pina colada vibe.
Passion fruit, davidson plum and raspberry and macadamia mango are also gluten free. Raspberry and coconut and the Weis chocolate ice cream bar are dairy free. I’ve listed them in the Dairy Free section below.
Woolworths
The mini variety pack updated at some point, now all four flavours are GF by ingredient (used to be just two). Note it’s only the 6 packs of the minis (made in Slovenia) that are fully GF, the 4 packs (made in Australia) have a may contain.
- Woolworths Mini Variety Pack Classic Flavours Ice Cream Sticks 12 Pack
- Mini almond sticks, 6 pack. Allergens: Milk, almond. May contain: Peanut, soy, tree nuts.
- Vanilla sticks, 6 pack. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Peanut, soy, tree nuts.
It took me a few months to actually find this ice cream in person (I like to confirm the ingredients with my own eyes).
- Strawberry donut. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts, soy.
- Vanilla donut. Allergens: Milk. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts, soy.
Dairy free and gluten free ice creams and icy poles
I know so many folk out there who are either gluten free and have a dairy allergy or gluten free and vegan. So every time I write a shopping guide I do my best to include a separate dairy free section and make note of what is vegan.
I have also written where something is dairy free but has a ‘may contain’. I’ve taken photos of the ingredients where possible so you can check for yourself.
Aldi
There are also a few items at Aldi that are both gluten and dairy free, even with no may contain.
Passionfruit Sorbet
These little pots of Italian style sorbet look so lovely. Most recently I’ve seen mango and passionfruit, but I think I saw pistachio and maybe chocolate earlier in the year. It’s also vegan đ
Allergens: None!
Mango sorbet
Another classic sorbet flavour is of course mango. This is also legit dairy free and vegan.
Allergens: None!
Stackers Rainbow
Okay so these are definitely just Lifesavers in an Aldi box. Ingredients are almost identical and allergens are the same.
Allergens: Nil. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
Joey Pops
These are icy poles in cola, lemonade and raspberry. They are mini sized so perfect for little ones :).
Allergens: Nil.
Juicies
I feel like this brand only popped up recently but according to their website they’ve been around for years. These icy poles come in pouches, kind of like a Sunny Boy. They’re made with fruit juice, so they are naturally gluten free. There’s three flavours in stores in Australia, lemonade, tropical and wildberry. You can get all three at IGAs, lemonade and tropical at Coles and just tropical at Woolies.
Bulla
Despite the huge list in the dairy section Bulla does offer some dairy free items.
The icy pops by Bulla come in raspberry, cola and lemonade. Happily there are no allergens and no may contain. They are also vegan!
Life savers
Hooray for a gluten free label on the front and not detected on the nutrition panel.
Allergens: Nil. May contain: Peanuts, tree nuts.
Peters
Icy pole
These icy poles come in classic lemonade and also raspberry. If you’re searching for it online be prepared to misspell it as icey pole – that’s how it’s listed on the Woolworths website and IGA.
Allergens: None. May contain: Peanuts and tree nuts.
Frosty Fruits
Back when I was in school there was just the one Frosty Fruits flavour. Quite cool to see there are four now and all gluten free!
Even better, Frosty Fruits are legit gluten free – endorsed by Coeliac Australia. You can see the ingredients and endorsement details on the Peter’s website.
Further they are all vegan and three are completely dairy free – no may contain for dairy. The newer flavour fruit stack has a may contain for dairy.
- Tropical. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Frosty Fruits Watermelon. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
- Fruit Stack. Allergens: Soy. May contain: Milk, peanut, tree nuts.
- Tropical sugar reduced. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
Rescue Pops
I came across Rescue Pops in January 2023 and I am very happy to say they are gluten free by ingredient. They are made using rescued plums that would otherwise have gone to waste – it’s a feel good icy pole!
- Rescue pops plums up, 8 pack. Allergen: Soy. May contain: Peanut, tree nuts.
Little Moons Mochi
It’s so exciting to see these in Australia. Little Moons Mochi have been available for years over in the UK and I’m sure other parts of the world. They are gluten free as standard and often vegan. Depending on the size of the shop you’ll get loads of flavour options as well.
They are legit gluten free – 0g detected on the nutrition label. At the moment they are exclusive to Woolworths.
Note: They are a may contain for dairy, so not suitable if you are sensitive.
Passionfruit and Mango
There’s six to a packet so it is a bit pricy but nice to have fun new flavours. This is vegan too.
Allergens: Soy, cashew. May contain: Milk, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame.
Belgian Chocolate and Hazelnut
Chocolate ice cream with little hazelnut pieces, vegan friendly.
Allergens: Soy, hazelnut. May contain: Milk, peanut, sesame, other tree nuts.
Magnum
Now this will be a surprise to many but recently the ingredients changed on the plant-based Magnum range. They’ve removed the ingredient stabiliser E407 which can be derived from wheat. It’s great news so it’s no longer an allergen and not listed as a may contain.
It is important to note that online stores like Coles and Woolworths still have the old ingredients listed as does the Aussie Magnum website. But, I’ve got photos taken in Oct / Nov 2022 to show you it’s good to go!
Almond Magnum
Gluten free, dairy free and vegan – woohoo!
- Magnum dairy free almond, 3 pack. Allergens: Almond May contain: Hazelnuts, soy.
Classic Magnum
Vanilla ice cream and a chocolate coating. No allergens, woohoo! I’ve actually had these (I don’t need DF) and they are great, there’s no strong non-dairy taste like you can find with some coconut-based ice creams.
- Magnum dairy free classic, 3 pack. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Almond, hazelnut, soy.
Sea Salt Caramel Magnum
Salted caramel is gluten free too, which I think covers all options! This one took me a while to find a photo, but as of now (Feb 2023) online listings are up to date with new ingredients so you can shop with confidence. Update: Oct 2024 I think these were discontinued.
May contain: Almond, hazelnut, soy.
Mochi Ice
Lychee
The nice thing about this flavour is there are no allergens or may contains. So it is fully dairy free and vegan.
Allergens: Nil. May contain: Nil.
Green Tea / Matcha
This is a regular purchase in our house, I absolutely love matcha ice cream and it’s just so nice to have this in a perfect little single serve. We buy it when it’s on sale at Coles, it’s usually $7.50 but can go as low as half price.
Allergens: Nil. May contain: Nil.
Chocolate
The chocolate flavour is also really nice, the chocolate is rich and you don’t notice that it’s dairy free.
Allergens: Nil. May contain: Nil.
Mango
A lovely tropical flavour, I love seeing that little not detected. Dairy free and vegan :).
Allergens: Nil. May contain: Nil.
Pana Organic
Probably the closest to a dairy ice cream you’ll get is the range by Pana Organic. It’s also the closest most gluten free folk can get to a Magnum. Side note: did you know Magnums are gluten free overseas? Scandalous!
They have an almond with mylk chocolate (contains almond, may contain tree nuts), hazelnut with mylk chocolate (contains hazelnut, may contain tree nuts), and white coco crunch – yep, crunchy GF biscuit pieces (may contain tree nuts)!
These are legit gluten free as you can see on the front of the label. They are tested with nil detected. You can read the ingredients on the Pana Organic website.
Proud and Punch
Chocolate that’s bananas (contains almond and soy) and coconuts for mango (contains soy) are legit gluten free (nil detected). While they are plant based they all have a may contain for milk, peanuts and tree nuts.
All of the Proud & Punch range are nil detected for gluten.
- Caramel date night, 6 pack. Allergens: Almond, soy. May contain: Milk, peanut, tree nuts.
- Pining for lime, 6 pack. Allergen: Soy. May contain: Milk, peanut, tree nuts.
- Hazelnuts about chocolate, 6 pack. Allergens: Hazelnut. May contain: Milk, soy, peanut, tree nuts.
Cashew Creamery
I almost left these off my list because somehow they are not on the Woolies website! But I do see them regularly in my local store. They are pricey around $8 for four ice creams that look rather smaller. However I have seen them go as low as half price during promotions.
They are legit gluten free, dairy free, soy free and vegan. Across the flavours, chocolate, vanilla, mint, coffee and strawberry the allergens and may contain are all the same.
Allergens: Cashew. May contain: peanuts.
You can see the full range, including the ingredients, on the Cashew Creamery website.
Cyclones
Cyclone icy poles are made by Streets – you’ll see on the ingredients that it says contains wheat. However, if you look at the ingredients the ‘wheat’ is from dextrose – which we know is gluten free.
While this is vegan and dairy free it does have a may contain for milk.
Swing
Swing, by Golden North, is like a Calippo icy pole. While you’ll best find these around South Australia they are available in other parts of Oz. I personally saw them and ate one in Yulara on my trip to the Uluru! They come in lemonade, raspberry and cola.
Weis
While researching I noticed two of the Weis flavours are dairy free as well as gluten free.
- Raspberry & Coconut. Allergens: Nil. May contain: Tree nuts.
- Dark Chocolate & Coconut. Allergen: Soy. May contain: Tree nuts.
- Dark chocolate and blood orange (spotted in Aldi June 2023!)
Zooper Dooper
Random anecdote: I was trying to find something like a Zooper Dooper at a supermarket in the UK. A guy from New Zealand walked past, interrupting to say, “You want to find a Zooper Dooper? Good luck.” Ha! Yeah, not a thing outside Australia.
These days there are three varieties (at least) of Zooper Doopers at the supermarket. I’ve also seen a few packs of just one flavour (like all cola).
- Classic Zooper Dooper, 24 pack. Allergen: Sulphites. May contain: Nil.
- No Sugar Zooper Dooper, 24 pack. Allergen: Sulphites. May contain: Nil.
- Sour Zooper Dooper, 24 pack. Allergen: Sulphites. May contain: Nil.

Thanks for compiling this list! Very helpful đ
Thank you so much Mel! It has definitely been one of the more enjoyable lists to write, a great excuse to try more ice creams! đ x Kati
Thanks for the list! I had a reaction to utopia almond last week⊠at least thatâs what after reading your page it would have been. The box had been thrown out so I didnât get to check it, but likely was purchased in Last 4-5 weeks. Today I checked in the freezer at utopia almond and couldnât find any mention of gluten or wheat. Do you think theyâve changed the recipe recently???
Hi Olivia!
So sorry to hear you had a reaction – I hope you’re all healed up now and feeling better.
It’s absolutely possible something has changed over at Utopia! From memory the issue with the regular Utopia flavours was the may contain warning for cereals containing gluten. If they have enhanced their cleaning processes it may be that they are now safe.
I’ll certainly have a look the next few times I visit Aldi – it may be the latest batches are good but there could still be some older stock lying out.
Thanks for letting me know, I do love almond choc ice creams!
